A few questions we hear from folks visiting for the first time.
We keep the kids in the main sanctuary during announcements and worship — because we believe the kids should sing to God and see the adults in their lives praise Him too. Kids are welcome to stay for the whole service, or they may head to Kid's Church, where they'll learn a Biblical lesson and do a fun craft project.
At Salt & Light, the focus is on Christ, not on who's wearing what. You'll find some folks dress up and others come casually. The choice is entirely yours — come as you are.
We get it… and we're here to help! If you have questions about who we are, where we're at, or how we do things — just ask. We'd love to grab coffee with you.
We are people who love Jesus & each other, because He first loved us. Services start at 4:00 PM, or a few minutes after. A typical service includes a couple of announcements, followed by singing a few songs together — a mix of traditional & contemporary, Christ-Centered music. We don't have a big, loud band; just a guitar and/or piano.
After singing, we have a Scripture Reading by a congregation member, followed by a Biblical, Gospel-oriented message, then one more song. We observe Communion together once a month. No gimmicks or fancy lights — just a Bible & the Presence of the Holy Spirit.
After the service, feel free to leave or join us for coffee, treats, and fellowship.
